Chelsea Merckel

Chelsea’s route into recruitment wasn’t exactly planned. She was finishing her Master’s in Psychology when recruitment found her just over two years ago. Coming from a Psychology background, Chelsea naturally gravitated towards understanding people: what motivates them, what they’re looking for and what actually makes them happy at work.

Chelsea now runs the Tax desk at Oakdene, specialising in the UK accountancy and advisory market. She’s developed a strong understanding of the tax world and built relationships across everything from Corporate Tax and Private Client to R&D Tax and Tax Technology.

Chelsea enjoys travelling, keeping active and spending time with friends and family.
